Reasoning :

Islanders enjoying the run that includes 4 wins in last 5. Their frontline showing some improvement and the roster is getting more confident.
They sure need to gas up if they want to be in the playoffs and that is most definetly their goal right now so i dont see them making stupid mistakes against lower-class team when they sit just 1 point away from wild card spot.

Even they lost to Canucks in their last game, they scored 5 times so their problem is not scoring for sure.

Ill take the team thats healthier and shows improvement and joy of playing right now.

Boston Bruins – Washington Capitals

Reasoning :

Capitals needs wins badly. And will be looking for points tonight, but i dont see them make it against Bruins.

Bruins has just been so good this season and they play very comprehensive hockey, espesially in the home building.
Ullmark is most likely going to start for the Bruins and he has been almost undefeatable, and Capitals sleeping offensive wont make it trough him tonight.

At the moment, Bruins is better on every level of the game and will be keeping the points in Boston.

LA Kings – Pittsburgh Penguins

Reasoning :

Both of these teams are struggling on keeping the puck out of their own net but sure knows how to make goals.
Kings playing for the first time after All-star break so i guess they have the excitement and energy to make few extra scoring chances.

Pens had to take out DeSmith from the goal against Ducks, so if Jarry is not ready to return after his injury, they have to go back to struggling DeSmith or give Dustin Tokarski a chance.
Phoenix Copley has been decent in goal this season but Pens firepower will be hard for him, when he has to do it all alone in the own end.

Defending against good scorers will be difficult for both teams so i guess the over might hit in the early game.
