The Rangers hosting Habs at MSG. The Rangers are coming in with a five-game win streak after a two-game loss streak, and they want to keep it. They will most likely keep the streak alive since they are the only team that aims for playoffs in this matchup.
The Rangers are dominating the Habs in every category: defense, offense, and goaltending. Besides that, they are better in every statistical category.
I don’t see a way Habs could get something out of this, so I’m going with Rangers.

BOS – SEA
Pick: Boston Bruins @1.91
Reasoning:

Since Jan 17th, Kraken has been struggling, and they have been able to gain only one win from the road, which was on the OT against the Islanders.
Now that they are traveling to one of the best rosters in the league, I kind of feel bad for them at this point.
At this point of the season, we can start thinking about which teams aim for playoffs and which don’t. Kraken is one of the teams that will likely be shut out from the playoffs this season. Don’t get me wrong, they still have a chance. All I’m saying is that they might lose sight of playoffs in the near future. Bruins need the bounce back after a few losses, and this will be a perfect opportunity for that.

CHI – PIT
Pick: Pittsburgh Penguins @1.83
Reasoning:

The broken Hawks team is hosting the struggling Penguins. This game can be a mess.
The Penguins are on a three-game losing streak and will be looking to get back on the winning path.
Against the Blackhawks, that should not be an issue, as the Pens are looking better on paper. They just need to get the game fixed.
Blackhawks’ only hope will be Mrazek tonight, but all he can do is keep the game close, so I’m leaving the handicap out of this.
